Pedersker is a small town with 241 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2020) on the Danish island of Bornholm in the Baltic Sea . The village is located in the parish of the same name ( Pedersker Sogn ), which until 1970 belonged to Harde Sønder Herred in what was then Bornholm's office . With the dissolution of the Harden structure, the parish was included in the municipality of Aakirkeby , the municipality in turn, after a referendum on January 1, 2003 with other municipalities in the regional municipality of Bornholm . Between 2003 and 2007 it was independent and since January 1st 2007 it belongs to the Hovedstaden region .
The name of the village is derived from the church of St. Peter in the village. Pedersker is about eight kilometers southeast of Aakirkeby and about eleven kilometers southwest of Nexø .
Rispebjerg's ring wall lies between the town and Poulsker .
