Career
Peter Lindmark began his career as an ice hockey player in his hometown at IFK Kiruna , for whose professional team he was active from 1974 to 1979 - first in the 1974/75 season in the then second-rate Division 2 and then after the founding of the Elitserien as the highest Swedish league in the new second division, Division 1 . From 1979 to 1984 the goalkeeper played for Timrå IK , with whom he ran up in the 1981/82 season in the Elitserien and in the remaining four years in Division 1. In 1981 he was awarded the gold puck for best Swedish player. For the 1984/85 season he moved to Färjestad BK from the Elitserien. There he had the lowest goals against goals and the best catch quota in the league in his first year. In the following season he won the Swedish championship title for the first time with his team . He was able to repeat this success with the FBK in the 1987/88 season . He was also runner-up with the team in the 1986/87 season and received the Guldhjälmen as the most valuable player in the Elitserien.
In the summer of 1988 Lundmark joined the second division team Malmö IF , with whom he achieved promotion to the Elitserien two years later. In the seasons 1991/92 and 1993/94 he was also with Malmö Swedish champion. In the 1994/95 season he was also again the goalkeeper with the best catch quota of the Elitserien. At European level, he won the European Cup with Malmö in 1992/93 . After a total of nine years, the Swede left Malmö IF in 1997. For the 1998/99 season he received another contract with Elitserien participant Luleå HF , in which, however, he was only in two games as a substitute goalkeeper in the squad without being used. He then ended his career at the age of 42. As the 119th ice hockey player in total, he received the Stor Grabb award, which was awarded in numerous popular sports in Sweden, for achieving a certain number of points in the respective sport.
