architecture

The former castle chapel and today's parish church is structurally enclosed to the north by the attached parsonage and south by the attached parsonage.

The north-east facing main front of the church has a classifying structure with a flat triangular gable over double pilasters with ionizing capitals. The central rectangular portal with a relief of the dove of the Holy Spirit above it, a window door with a protruding balustrade, in the gable is a clock face, finally a low tower top on volute inlets with lateral vases, the tower top has a curved bell window and a flat hood. The parish church is built into the north by the parsonage, the south front swinging forward in the middle shows with pilasters and lunette windows. The parish center, which was added in 1987, has a traditional shape and a polygonal staircase.

The interior of the church shows itself as a lengthwise oval drum-less dome, which is extended by flat transept apses and a shallow rectangular choir as well as a shallow organ gallery on the main axes. In the diagonals, the space is structured by semicircular, protruding galleries over arched figured niches. Furthermore, the entire room with rich stucco marble with pilasters and profiled cornices in pink and gold and the uniform furnishings from the construction period have been preserved. The organ gallery has a flat arched, richly ornamented parapet. On the north and south corners there are small oratorios placed over the corner with stucco-marbled windows.

The painting in the dome Apotheosis of St. Johannes Nepomuk and Trinity in a pseudo-architectural framing was painted by Daniel Gran (around 1729), the painting was partly overpainted by Franz Jobst in 1888 and restored in 1992/1994. Below are grisailes with aedicules framed with scenes from the life of St. Johannes Nepomuk, confession of Queen Johanna, Johannes Nepomuk before King Wenzel, overthrow of the saint into the Moldau.

Furnishing

The high altar and the side altars in niches on the symmetry axes were included in the architectural structure. In the diagonal arched niches are stucco marble statues of the Four Evangelists by Giovanni Giuliani .

The high altar has a column structure made of stucco marble with ionizing capitals with a cranked gable top. The altarpiece St. Johannes Nepomuk distributes alms to the poor, painted in 1732 by Daniel Gran. The altar gable shows a stucco medallion with the relief of John the Baptist . The baroque tabernacle is crowned with figures of angels. The altar table shows a reclining figure of St. Johannes Nepomuk.

The two side altars have stucco-marbled altar leaves, on the left the crucifixion of Christ flanked by angel figures from the Martino Altomonte school , on the right the Annunciation flanked by donor figures from the Kirchner-Rosenberg family from 1731/1732 by Daniel Gran, the right side altar also has the side statues hll. Barbara and Margarete.

The organ in a late baroque case with an inlaid case with gilded bandwork decoration and crowning putti shows the former designation Johannes Hencke (1726), the pedal extension is from 1847.

In the inaccessible crypt is the coffin of the builder Gregor Wilhelm von Kirchner, who died in 1735.
