Philipp Franz Freiherr von und zu Guttenberg (born May 10, 1973 in Mannheim ) is a German - Austrian farmer and forest manager . Life

Guttenberg attended the Gymnasium Schloss Neubeuert im Chiemgau and graduated from high school there . He then studied forestry and ecology at the Scottish universities of Edinburgh and Aberdeen . Philipp zu Guttenberg has been committed to the interests of private and municipal forest owners since 2005, first in Austria, then in Germany. Guttenberg was a member of the competence team of the Rhineland-Palatinate CDU top candidate Julia Klöckner for the state elections on March 13, 2016. The competence team was presented by the top candidate on February 2 in Mainz.

He is committed to sustainable and multifunctional forestry, which goes back to the Saxon chief miner Hans Carl von Carlowitz , and is committed to the sustainable raw material wood against the background of climate protection z.
