Poppi is a municipality Kressbronn am Bodensee in Baden-Württemberg Bodenseekreis in Germany .

The Poppis district is located around two kilometers northeast of the center of Kressbronn between the other districts of Gattnau , Hüttmannsberg , Riedensweiler , Arensweiler , Krummensteg and Kümmertsweiler .

The county road  7705 combines Poppis with Kressbronn and the Bavarian places Bechtersweiler or Unterreitnau . Poppis is integrated into the local public transport network
via line 235 (Kressbronn- Hiltensweiler -Kressbronn) of the Bodensee-Oberschwaben Verkehrsverbund (bodo).

Hiking trails

Several signposted hiking trails run through Poppis, including the first stage of the Jubiläumsweg Bodenseekreis . It leads from the Kressbronn train station to Neukirch . At the vantage point between Arensweiler and Poppis, the hiker has a wonderful view of countless flowering fruit trees and Lake Constance across to the 2,502 meter high Säntis in the Appenzellerland .
