Riedensweiler is a municipality Kressbronn am Bodensee in Baden-Württemberg Bodenseekreis in Germany .

The district of Riedensweiler is around two and a half kilometers northeast of the center of Kressbronn, south of Schleinsee and between the other districts of Nitzenweiler , Poppis , Kümmertsweiler , Atlashofen , Hüttmannsberg and the Bavarian Bechtersweiler .

Waters

The Fallenbach , which flows into the Nonnenbach , gathers below the Längenberg. In the past, its water has often led to severe flooding in the center of Kressbronn after melting snow or storms.

Protected area

The Schachried nature reserve is located north of Riedensweiler . Within the cadastral maps, the area is with the bathes chess Ried and Schalk Ried Moss called. The first stage of the Bodenseekreis Jubilee Trail runs through Riedensweiler . It leads from the Kressbronn train station to Neukirch . At the lookout point at the hail cannon between Poppis and Riedensweiler, hikers have a wonderful view of countless flowering fruit trees and Lake Constance across to the 2502 meter high Säntis in the Appenzellerland .
