The hamlet is located around two kilometers southwest of the center of Kressbronn. To the west is the district of Gohren , to the south of the district of Tunau .

history

In 1838, Reute had 15 inhabitants, was a branch of the Langenargener parish and consisted of two farms that were formerly Schupflehen of the Montfortic rule Argen . Politically, the hamlet belonged to Nonnenbach at that time, from which in 1934, together with Hemigkofen, the municipality of Kressbronn emerged.
