The district of Nitzenweiler is located around three kilometers northeast of the center of Kressbronn, between the other districts of Berg , Atlashofen , Riedensweiler and Schleinsee on the Schleinsee , which gives it its name .
Nature reserve Schönmoos
The ten hectare large nature reserve Nice Moos is located south of Nitzenweiler, west of the road to Atlas Hofen. The main protection purpose is the preservation and upgrading of the flat bog complex with different biotope types and species compositions.

Hiking trails
Several signposted hiking trails run through Nitzenweiler, including the first stage of the Anniversary Trail around Lake Constance . It leads from the Kressbronn train station to Neukirch . At the vantage point above the Schleinsee, hikers have a wonderful view of the Schleinsee, Nitzenweiler, countless flowering fruit trees and Lake Constance across to the 2502 meter high Säntis in the Appenzellerland .
Attractions
Corn Maze
The corn maze on the road between Nitzenweiler and Atlashofen was open from the end of July to the end of September . In addition to an annually changing motif within the maize field, refreshments, beer sets and barbecue facilities, a bouncy castle, a maize bathtub, water sprayers, trampoline, pedal vehicles, roller slide, swing, pet enclosure, maize telephone, a carousel and several times a year "moonlight or new moon hikes" are offered for entertainment .
