action
Ben Healy moves from Cold River to Mortville with his adopted son Junior. Many divorced women are interested in the single man, but Junior sabotages their advances. At all costs he wants to prevent a new woman from standing between him and his father and endangering the intact father-son relationship.
Junior and his classmate Trixie Young, who dislike each other, compete at times to see who is causing more problems. Ben takes a liking to Trixie's mother Annie, the school's nurse, who is also a single parent, but who doesn't want to have a relationship with a man because of her difficult daughter. As it turns out later, Trixie - just like Junior with his father - taught potential lovers to fear.
The wealthy Lawanda Dunmore finally succeeds in winning Ben's heart for himself. In Ben's absence, she blatantly shows her dislike for the boy towards Junior and threatens to deport him abroad as his new stepmother. Trixie and Junior put an end to their animosity and do everything in their power to prevent the upcoming wedding at the last minute and to bring their parents together.
Reviews
Janet Maslin wrote in the New York Times on July 5, 1991 that "big business" was the only explanation for this sequel. The film is "silly", but not "unsuitable"; There are some good comedy actors in the cast.
“Continuation of the pitch-black comedy" So ein Satansbraten "(1989), laid out as a brightly colored comic strip; the satirical sharpness of the original is not achieved, so that the film instead indulges in tastelessness and jokes at the expense of minorities. "
