Qualzow is a district of the town of Mirow in the south of the Mecklenburg Lake District in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania .

Geography and transport links

Qualzow is northeast of the core town of Mirow . The state road L 25 runs east and the B 198 south of the village. Southwest extends the 32 ha large nature reserve Zerrinsee at Qualzow , a Versumpfungsmoor . The Arboretum Erbsland is hidden in the forest area between the villages of Qualzow and Granzow .

Attractions

In earlier times there was a church in Qualzow , but it was destroyed in 1934 due to the forced relocation of Qualzow because of the Rechlin test site . Only the altar of her has survived, which was saved in 1934 and is now in the village church of Schillersdorf . The church was not rebuilt.
