Kakeldütt is a residential area in the town of Mirow in the Blankenförde district in the south of the Mecklenburg Lake District in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania .

Geography and transport links

Kakeldütt is located northeast of the core town Mirow on the district road K 2. The state road L 25 and the B 198 run south of the place. The Havel separates Kakeldütt from the neighboring district of Blankenförde .

To the west extends Jäthensee , southwest of Jamelsee , south of the Red Sea and east of Görtowsee .

history

Kakeldütt was first mentioned in 1342 when it was owned by Prince Nicolaus III. and Bernhard von Werle was given away to the Mirow Commandery .

Until 2014, Kakeldütt belonged to the community of Roggentin, but this and its districts were incorporated into Mirow.
