Mirowdorf
Mirowdorf , also Mirow Dorf , is a residential area in the town of Mirow in the Mecklenburg Lake District ( Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania ).
geography
Mirowdorf borders the city of Mirow in the north and east and is located directly on the Mirower Canal . The residential area mainly consists of Starsower Straße (L 25), via which you can reach Starsow after 1 km and Schwarz after 5 km , and Lärzer Straße (K 3), via which you reach Lärz after 3 km .
The B 198 runs directly behind the Mirower lock , via which you can reach Wesenberg , Neustrelitz , Stralsund , Fürstenberg / Havel and Berlin .
The Wittenberge - Strasburg railway ran south-west.
history
In 1836 the place consisted of 12 houses that bordered the Mirow area.
During the GDR era , numerous new single-family houses were built, which characterize Mirowdorf's village image.
