Quinn Hancock (born May 8, 1977 in Rock Creek , British Columbia ) is a Canadian ice hockey player who has been under contract with the EC Hannover Indians since January 2013 .

Career

Quinn Hancock began his career in 1994 with the Tacoma Rockets and initially stayed in the squad after the team was relocated for the 1995/96 season. After a game for the Calgary Hitmen , he then moved to the Prince George Cougars . The Canadian played there for three years and was his team's top scorer in the 1997/98 season . In addition, he set new season records for goals, assists and points.

In 1998 the attacker signed his first senior contract and played for the Worcester IceCats in the American Hockey League and the Peoria Rivermen in the East Coast Hockey League . In 1999 Hancock moved to the Manitoba Moose in the International Hockey League . After 22 games, he joined the Muskegon Fury from the United Hockey League . The right-handed shooter played there until the end of 2000 and then moved to the Rochester Americans in the AHL.

For the 2001/02 season , Hancock signed his first contract in Europe when he joined the Augsburg Panthers from the German Ice Hockey League . After leaving the play-offs in the quarter-finals, the Canadian moved to the Finnish SM-liiga to Rauman Lukko . There he was his team's top scorer in the 2003/04 season. In 2004 the striker signed for one year with league rivals Jokerit from Helsinki . His next stop was Tappara , where he stayed until 2007. After Hancock completed two games for Tappara at the beginning of the 2007/08 season, he moved to the Swedish club Södertälje SK in the Elitserien . There the Canadian missed the play-offs and returned to his former team Jokerit in 2008.

In the summer of 2009 Quinn Hancock signed with the Iserlohn Roosters from the DEL. In the Sauerland , the right-handed shooter, who could be used as a center or right wing, was scheduled for the first or second row. The season began for him as a winger at the side of Michael Wolf and Robert Hock , where he brought consistent performances. After three games with an injury break and poor performance by the team, there was a tactical change in the ranks, as a result of which he came as a center between the duo Jimmy Roy and Ryan Ready . The Roosters did not extend his contract after the season.

After the striker had spent the following season at EC Graz 99ers , the Canadian was signed in August 2011 by the Danish first division club SønderjyskE Ishockey from the AL-Bank Ligaen .
