The Rodenhof is a district of the Saarbrücken district of Malstatt . Its origins go back to the 18th century when the agricultural estate Rodenhof was built here, which developed into a popular excursion destination for Saarbrücken residents. From about 1893, the railway workers' housing built cooperative the first buildings (EWBG). The north-western part was built on with single and multi-family houses after the First World War .

The Rodenhof is located in the northern part of Malstatt behind the station area . The new " Quartier Eurobahnhof " was created here on the former railway site . The Rodenhof is characterized by multi-family houses, which are largely managed by the EWBG.

In Ludwigsparkstadion wearing 1. FC Saarbrücken their home games. Other distinctive buildings are the Saarlandhalle and the St. Albert parish church from 1953 by Gottfried Böhm .

The Rodenhof suffered massive collateral damage during the war due to its direct proximity to Saarbrücken main station . Even today, duds are occasionally found during construction work; therefore the residents of this district have had to be evacuated several times.
