Rüdiger Rudolph (born June 8, 1972 in Siegen ) is a German actor , cabaret artist , stand up comedian and podcaster .

Life

Rüdiger Rudolph was born as an only child in Siegen. His parents were both lawyers and notaries in Siegen. After graduating from the Fürst-Johann-Moritz Gymnasium Siegen and doing civilian service in the DRK Children's Clinic Siegen in infant surgery, he began his acting training from 1992 to 1995 at the school of the theater Der Keller in Cologne. From 2000 he took part in various training courses at the Actor's Center London. In addition to his acting training, Rudolph worked as a taxi driver in Cologne and from 1999 to 2003 at the Berlin Schönefeld Airport for Lufthansa Catering .

After training as an actor, Rudolph had his first engagements in Celle and Dortmund before he accepted a permanent engagement in Gießen for a year from 1995. In Berlin he was hired for several supporting roles in cinema productions. As an exuberant party guest in Wir (2005) or as a pimp Horst in Black Sheep (2006). Since 2005 he has also been working as a stand up comedian and presenter of comedy shows. In 2005 he was a finalist in the Hamburg Comedy Cup.

From 2009 to 2012 Rudolph had a permanent engagement with the Thuringian Theater and Philharmonic Orchestra at the venues in Altenburg and Gera . In a collaboration with Amina Gusner he wrote the piece Untreated - but preferred a single for the Konzert Direktion Landgraf, in which he also played the leading role. He went on tour with the piece from (2014 to 2018) in German-speaking countries.

Rudolph is currently working in various productions at the Cabaret Theater Distel . Often as a Donald Trump impersonator.

Rüdiger Rudolph has been married to the acting agent and music journalist Gabi Rudolph since 2008. You have 2 children.

He is a member of the Federal Drama Association (BFFS).
