Raimund Eberle

Raimund Eberle (born April 3, 1929 in Eichet, municipality of Bernau am Chiemsee ; † July 4, 2007 ) was a German lawyer and from 1975 to 1994 regional president of Upper Bavaria .

Life

Eberle attended elementary school in Bernau am Chiemsee and then the grammar school in Traunstein . From 1949 he began studying law at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich . During his legal clerkship , he worked at various judicial authorities in Traunstein, the Traunstein District Office and the government of Upper Bavaria. During this time Eberle also worked as a local political reporter for the Traunstein press.

In 1957, Eberle passed the Great State Examination in Law and was employed as a government assessor in the government of Upper Bavaria. In 1958 he was appointed to the Bavarian State Ministry of the Interior , where he worked in the local politics department. In 1959 Eberle was appointed press officer in the Ministry of the Interior. In 1962 Eberle moved to the Bavarian State Chancellery as head of the state government's press office . In 1975 he succeeded Adam Deinlein as the regional president of Upper Bavaria. In 1994 Eberle retired and handed over his office to Werner-Hans Böhm .
