Heinrich Kneuer

Heinrich Kneuer (born July 12, 1887 in Abensberg , † April 19, 1959 in Dachau ) was a German administrative lawyer .

Career

After graduating from high school in Nuremberg and studying law and doing a doctorate in Würzburg , he entered the Bavarian civil service and held various positions until 1945, including a. with the Glonn regulation in the Dachau region and from 1934 to 1938 as a district administrator for the Aibling district . In May 1945 he was temporarily appointed district administrator of the Upper Bavarian district of Dachau by the American military government . On June 6, 1946, Kneuer was confirmed in office by the first freely elected district council . On October 7, 1946, however , the Bavarian Ministry of the Interior ordered Kneuer's dismissal because his position as district administrator in Aibling had been overlooked when he was appointed district administrator. A short time later, however, Kneuer was rehabilitated. In 1949 he became President of the Administrative Court and from 1950 to 1952 he was District President of Upper Bavaria . He died after severe suffering on April 19, 1959 in the Dachau hospital.
