Reckrod is a district of the market town of Eiterfeld in the eastern Hessian district of Fulda .
Geographical location
Reckrod is located north of the main town in the Rhön . Reckrod borders in the north on Wölf , in the east on the main town Eiterfeld, in the south on Arzell and in the west on Buchenau .
history
Reckrod was first mentioned in 1392.
On September 1, 1970 Reckrod was in the course of administrative reform in Hesse on a voluntary basis in the community Eiterfeld incorporated .
