Reinhold Nann

Reinhold Nann (Spanish form of name: Reinaldo Nann , born August 25, 1960 in Breisach ) is a German Roman Catholic clergyman and prelate of Caravelí in Peru .

Life

Reinhold Nann was born in Breisach and grew up in Achkarren . He studied philosophy and theology at the Albert Ludwig University of Freiburg . On May 31, 1987, Nann received the sacrament of ordination for the Archdiocese of Freiburg . He then worked as a vicar in Mannheim and Waldkirch . He worked in parish pastoral care until 1992 and then went to Peru as a Fidei donum priest until 1996 and again from 2002 .

Nann worked as a parish administrator in various parishes in the Archdiocese of Trujillo and coordinated the partnership between this Archdiocese and his home diocese from 2004 to 2012. From 2003 to 2006 he was Episcopal Vicar for the northern region of the Archdiocese. Since 2017 he has been pastor of a parish in the Apostolic Vicariate of San José de Amazonas .

Reinhold Nann belongs to the Schoenstatt Institute for Diocesan Priests .

Pope Francis appointed him Prelate of the Territorial Prelature Caravelí on May 27, 2017 . He was ordained episcopate on August 15 of the same year by the Archbishop of Ayacucho o Huamanga , Salvador Piñeiro García-Calderón ; Co- consecrators were the Archbishop of Trujillo , Héctor Miguel Cabrejos Vidarte OFM , and the Military Bishop of Peru , Juan Carlos Vera Plasencia MSC . The inauguration in Chala, the seat of the prelature, took place on August 22, 2017.
