René Harder (born December 23, 1971 in Konstanz ) is a German director , author , actor and professor of drama .

René Harder works as a freelance artist, since April 2008 he has been a lecturer at the Alanus University for Art and Society in Alfter and was appointed professor for drama in October 2008.

In Görlitz he became known far beyond the borders for his cult piece Der Gottesacker blooms . This performance led to the headline: Görlitz Opera moves into crypt . Old Görlitz history comes to life in the old Nikolaifriedhof . His documentary Herr Pilipenko und seine U-Boot (script and direction) won various prizes, including a. the "Best Documentary" award at the Cleveland International Film Festival.

Life

René Harder grew up in Konstanz, passed the Abitur at the Waldorf School Überlingen- Rengoldhausen in 1991 and developed over several training levels - internship , acting and directing studies - to become a director. René Harder has been Professor of Acting at the Alanus University in Alfter near Bonn since 2008 .
