Resurrection Remix OS (short: RRO ) or Resurrection Remix ROM is an open source Android - Custom-ROM , which is distinguished by a number of customization options from other custom ROMS.
history
On January 1st, 2012 Altan KRK started the project. The first version was based on Android 4.0. When developing RROS based on Android 4.4, Shubhang Rathorel joined in with the aim of perfecting the ROM in every respect. In addition to a facelift, the project also got a website and quickly became one of the most successful Android custom ROMs. Over time, more and more developers were added. On January 24, 2019, the Android Pie-based Resurrection Remix 7.0.0 was released. On May 5, 2020, the Android Q-based Resurrection Remix 8.0.0 was released for the first device.
particularities
Resurrection Remix ROM offers numerous customization options and combines many features of other custom ROMs. Furthermore, RROS offers optimizations that increase the battery life. In the developer settings you have the option to activate root rights. The Resurrection Remix OS team delivers updates faster than most developers of comparable projects.
