Rossbach Forest

The Roßbacher Forst is a 21.15 km² community-free area in the Bad Kissingen district in the Bavarian Rhön . The area is completely forested .

The Roßbacher Forst is located south of Zeitlofs , with the eponymous district of Roßbach, between Rhön and Spessart . The highest point is the Pfeffersbrunn at 517  m above sea level. NN . The community-free area is the largest in the district in terms of area.

The Roßbacher Forst railway tunnel on the Hanover – Würzburg high-speed line is named after the community-free area .
