Robert Blunder (born June 5, 1957 in Kufstein ) is an Austrian writer, business economist and university lecturer. He also writes under the pseudonym "Robert Lundberg".

Life

Robert Blunder grew up in Kufstein and, after graduating from high school in June 1975, trained as a reserve officer with the armed forces at BRG Wörgl , before studying business administration at the University of Innsbruck from 1977 . After graduation in 1982, a stay at Harvard Business School followed in 1983 as part of a Fulbright scholarship . He received his doctorate in 1984 from the University of Innsbruck.

He then served a total of three times with the UN peacekeeping forces in the Golan Heights (Syria): 1983/84, 1993/94 and 1996/97. Most recently he held the rank of colonel (appointed July 1, 2001). He wrote experiences from his UN missions in his novel Falken des Friedens , published by Haymon Verlag in 2000 , in which he plays the main character. His novel was reviewed by Vladimir Vertlib in the Wiener Zeitung and by Alfred Ohswald on Buchkritik.at. On June 2, 2013 he was in the ORF -Talkshow in the center at Ingrid Thurnher occasion of the completion of the UNDOF AUSBATT mission to guest.

Robert Blunder has worked in industrial and management consulting since 1982. From 1998 to 1999 he was a professor for general business administration and organization at the Vorarlberg University of Applied Sciences , and from 2000 to 2008 lecturer and head of studies at the University of Liechtenstein (Department of Economics). Since 2009 he has been Professor of Business Administration with a focus on International Management and in particular key competencies at the FOM - University of Applied Sciences for Economics and Management , in Munich.

Robert Blunder leads seminars on the topics of rhetoric, presentation and communication, as well as creative, literary and professional writing.

From 2004 to 2006, Robert Blunder completed and successfully completed his university didactics course at the University of St. Gallen while working . From 2013 to 2017 he contributed to the higher education didactic training of the lecturers as part of the ProfiLehrePlus course offer at the University of the Federal Armed Forces in Munich .
