Roman Anatolijowytsch Besus ( Ukrainian Роман Анатолійович Безус , born September 26, 1990 in Kremenchuk ) is a Ukrainian football player who is under contract with KAA Gent .

The 1.85 m tall midfielder played for Kremin Kremenchuk from 2006 to 2008 and then moved to Worskla Poltava . In early January 2013 he moved to Dynamo Kiev and signed until the end of December 2017. In January 2015 he moved to Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk , which he left again in June 2016. This was followed by his first international position at VV St. Truiden in the Belgian first division . In January 2019 he then moved on to league rivals KAA Gent .

National team

He made his debut in the Ukrainian U21 national team on November 17, 2010 against the Czech Republic . He made his debut for the senior national team in November 2011 in a 3: 3 friendly match against Germany. In the 4-0 win in the World Cup qualifier against Montenegro on June 7, 2013, he scored his first international goal in the 90th minute of the game. By 2015 he had 19 internationals in which he scored four goals. After a break, he was back on the pitch in 2019 for two qualifying matches for the 2020 European Championship and a friendly.
