Route Tchanga is a district ( French : quartier ) in the Arrondissement Niamey IV of the city of Niamey in Niger .

geography

The neighborhood is located on National Road 1 on the eastern edge of the municipal area of Niamey. Inland are the districts Aéroport I and Aéroport II . The soils in Route Tchanga are very ferrous, which means that infiltration is not possible.

history

The place name Route Tchanga comes from the fact that Moumouni Boureima , who was Prefect President of the Niamey Community of Communes from 1997 to 1999 and whose nickname is Tchanga, had the pavement renewed here.

At the 2012 census, Route Tchanga had 1,830 residents living in 277 households.
