Kongou Gonga

Kongou Gonga (also: Kongou Ganda ) is a village in the Niamey IV arrondissement of the city of Niamey in Niger .
The village, run by a traditional chief (chef traditionnel) , is located in the rural municipality of Niamey on a dry valley . The surrounding settlements include the hamlets of Maouri Windi and Kouara Béri in the northeast, the hamlet of Kongou Laba in the southeast and the village of Kongou Gorou in the southwest. In the traditional system of rule, the mayor of Kongou Gonga reports to the head of the canton of Saga .
At the 2012 census, Kongou Gonga had 813 residents in 96 households. At the 2001 census, the population was 363 in 56 households.
The public primary school Ecole primaire de Kongou Gonga was founded in 1987.
