Talladjé Est (also: Extension Talladjé ) is a district ( French : quartier ) in the Arrondissement Niamey IV of the city of Niamey in Niger .

geography

Talladjé Est is located in the south-east of the urban area between the Niamey Green Belt in the north-west and Niamey Airport in the south-east. To the northeast is the Sary Koubou district and to the southeast is the Talladjé district . Talladjé Est extends over an area of ​​approximately 123.9 hectares . It is located in a plateau with a mostly more than 2.5 meters deep layer of sand, which allows better infiltration than in other parts of the city. Only on the northern and southern edges is the sand layer less than 2.5 meters deep.

history

Talladjé Est (French for "Talladjé East") was founded in 1996 as an extension of the Talladjé district.

At the 2012 census, Talladjé Est had 11,497 inhabitants who lived in 1,835 households.
