* The results of the 2011 census have been corrected several times, but now more than 20 percent of Germans are said to live in the community. This would allow the municipality to introduce the rights guaranteed in Polish minority law, such as bilingual place-name signs.
The municipality is currently planning to introduce bilingual place names. In Lubowitz, where the Eichendorff Center is located, the German-language name has already become official. In a survey in March 2016, the population voted in favor of the introduction of the names throughout the community.
