history
Schlause belonged as tithing equipment to the church of Wartha , which belonged to the Johannites in 1189 and was donated to the newly founded Kamenz monastery in 1210 . For the year 1290, Schlause is documented as a knight's seat and in 1318 it received German law. Politically it belonged to the Duchy of Silesia , after its division in 1248 to the Duchy of Breslau , from 1278 to the Duchy of Schweidnitz and from 1321 to the newly established Duchy of Münsterberg , which came under Bohemian fiefdom in 1336 under Johann von Luxemburg . It was recognized in the same year by Bolko II von Münsterberg in the Treaty of Straubing. Georg von Podiebrad's son Heinrich d. Ä. Schlause sold in 1483 to Hans von Pannwitz . In the 16th century, Schlause was owned by the von Zedlitz family , in 1599 it belonged to Hans von Tschirn ( Czirn ) and from 1622 to Christoph von Gellhorn, who was followed by the von Landskron family. From around 1660 until the middle of the 18th century, the lords of Netz owned it.
After the First Silesian War , Schlause, like almost all of Silesia, fell to Prussia in 1742 . Since 1874 the rural community of Schlause belonged to the district of Olbersdorf, which was later renamed the district of Bärwalde and in 1933 consisted of the rural communities of Bärwalde, Olbersdorf and Schlause. In 1785, Schlause was owned by Lieutenant General von Rothkirch , who was followed in the 19th century by the Lords of Schlabrendorf . From these it came through marriage to the Counts Harbuval and Chamaré, who kept it until the 20th century.
Since the reorganization of Prussia in 1815, Schlause belonged to the province of Silesia and from 1818 was incorporated into the Münsterberg district, which was united with the Frankenstein district in Silesia on October 1, 1932 . In 1939 Schlause had 468 inhabitants.
After the end of the Second World War , in 1945, like almost all of Silesia, Schlause was placed under Polish administration by the Soviet occupying power . The Poles introduced the place name Służejów for Schlause . The German population was expelled from Schlause by the local Polish administrative authority . The new residents were Polish civilians, some of them from areas east of the Curzon Line that fell to the Soviet Union .
From 1975 to 1998 Służejów belonged to the Wałbrzych Voivodeship (German Waldenburg ).
