Saint-Laurent-d'Oingt is a commune Déléguée in the French commune of Val d'Oingt with 854 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Rhône in the region of Auvergne Rhône-Alpes . The inhabitants are called Saint-Laurentais .
With effect from January 1, 2017, the former municipalities of Le Bois-d'Oingt , Oingt and Saint-Laurent-d'Oingt were merged to form the Commune nouvelle Val d'Oingt. Since then it has had the status of a Commune déléguée. It was part of the arrondissement of Villefranche-sur-Saône and the canton of Le Bois-d'Oingt .

Saint-Laurent-d'Oingt is located about 29 kilometers northwest of Lyon and about twelve kilometers west-southwest of Villefranche-sur-Saône in the Bourgogne wine region on the Azergues River . Saint-Laurent-d'Oingt is surrounded by the neighboring towns of Sainte-Paule in the north, Ville-sur-Jarnioux in the northeast, Oingt in the east, Le Bois-d'Oingt in the south, Saint-Vérand in the southwest and Ternand in the west.
