Joint mayor of the municipality
Mayor of the municipality is Godehard Ritz (CDU). He was confirmed in the local elections on September 10, 2006 in the first ballot with 72.3% of the votes in his office. In the last mayoral election on May 25, 2014, he was re-elected unopposed with 81.6% of the vote. The turnout was 53.0%. Ritz began his further term on November 1, 2014.
