San Maurizio d'Opaglio ( Piedmontese San Mauritsi , Lombardy San Maurizi ) is a municipality with 3,039 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) on the southwestern shore of Lake Orta in the Italian province of Novara (NO), Piedmont region .

The municipality consists of the districts (frazioni) Sazza, Pascolo, Lagna, Alpiolo, Opagliolo, Bacchiore, Briallo, Pianelli, Vacchetta, Raveglia, Niverate and San Maurizio d'Opaglio.

The neighboring communities are Gozzano , Madonna del Sasso ( VB ), Orta San Giulio , Pella and Pogno .
