Sara Paxton (* 25. April 1988 in Woodland Hills , Los Angeles , California ) is an American actress and pop - singer .

life and career

At a young age, Paxton appeared in various commercials . She got her first film role at the age of eight as a schoolgirl in The Dummies . Then she got various roles in smaller films and television series, such as 2000 in X-Factor: The Incredible . In 2002 Paxton starred in the television series Greetings from Tucson . In other supporting roles she was seen in the series CSI: Vegas , CSI: Miami , Malcolm in the middle and Will & Grace . In 2004 she starred as Sarah Borden in Summerland Beach for several episodes . She also played a leading role in the movie Suddenly in love , in which she played the bitchy Stacie .

In 2006 Paxton played a leading role in the film Aquamarine - First Love . For the film's soundtrack, she recorded the track Connected and worked on a CD called The Ups and Downs , which included the hit single Here We Go Again . In 2008 she starred alongside Drake Bell in Superhero Movie . She also made guest appearances on The Wizards of Waverly Place and Lizzie McGuire . In 2009 she starred as Mari Collingwood in the remake The Last House on the Left of the 1972 film of the same name by Wes Craven .
