Sara Rue (* 26. January 1979 in New York City as Sara Schlackman ) is an American actress .

life and career

Sara Rue was born Sara Schlackman in 1979. She is the daughter of actress Joan Schlackman (née Rue) and stage manager Marc Schlackman. She uses her mother's maiden name as a stage name.

In 2001 she married producer Mischa Livingstone. In 2007 the couple divorced. She has been married to Kevin Price since May 2011.

Throughout her career, Rue played mostly small roles in large productions. For example, she worked as a nurse Marta in the blockbuster Pearl Harbor . She also appeared on popular sitcoms such as Roseanne , in which she played the main character Roseanne at a younger age, and in Two and a Half Men , where she played the daughter of the housekeeper Berta in two episodes. In The Big Bang Theory she also made a brief appearance as Leonard's friend, the assistant doctor Dr. Stephanie Barnett. Her most consistent series role so far has been that of Secretary Claude Casey in Office Girl .
