Schönbach is a place in Oberpinzgau in the province of Salzburg , and locality of the municipality of Bramberg am Wildkogel in the district of Zell am See .

geography

Schönbach is located about 4 kilometers southwest (towards the Salzach) from Bramberg and 2 kilometers east of Neukirchen , on the right - southern, shady - bank of the Salzach , at around 840 m above sea level. A. The place is at the entrance of the Habach Valley , on the left hand side at the mouth of the Schönbach , which comes from the Wildalm on the Gamskogel ( 2107 m above sea level ), one of the last peaks of the mountain range that separates Untersulzbachtal and Habach Valley ( Großvenediger group of Venediger Group ).

The village has almost 30 buildings with around 100 residents. The Geigen , Haus and Kotriesen farmsteads to the south-east belong to the local area, which officially extends from the Salzach about 2 km to the left of the Habach .
