Schönbrunn is a district of the city of Saalburg-Ebersdorf in the Saale-Orla district in Thuringia .

geography

Schönbrunn is located between Ebersdorf and the city of Bad Lobenstein on the L 1095 to the east, not far from the Bleilochtalsperre . The wooded hills to the forest-covered slopes at the dam limit the area around the village. The village is located on a plateau of the southeast Thuringian slate mountains at an average altitude of 519 m above sea level. The church stands on a hill and can be seen from afar.

With the lines 610 and 620 of the KomBus transport company , Schönbrunn has connections to the cities of Schleiz , Bad Lobenstein, Lehesten , Naila and Ziegenrück .
