The seventeenth Swiss football championship was 1913 / 1914 instead.

The FC Aarau in 1914 for the second time Swiss champion, having already won the fourth time in five years, the Serie A East (and thus the finals).

The top division, Serie A , was divided into three regional groups. A win brought 2 points, a draw 1 point. The winners of the three groups competed against each other in finals for the championship.
