In the men's race, Pietro Piller Cottrer won, who was able to shorten the gap to René Sommerfeldt, who was in second place in the overall World Cup. Bormio (endurance race)

The women's race was shaped by Justyna Kowalczyk from Poland, who was able to break away early. However, she had to pay tribute to her high pace towards the end of the race so that Virpi Kuitunen was able to catch up and win the sprint to the finish. Vincent Vittoz was able to break away early on in the men's competition. World Cup leader Lukáš Bauer underestimated Vittoz, who was in shape this season, so that Vittoz was able to run out a large lead that Bauer could not catch up towards the end of the race.

Bormio (pursuit)

In the last race of the season, the women's race of the previous day was repeated. Justyna Kowalczyk attacked early and was able to pull away from Virpi Kuitunen. On the last kilometers, Kuitunen was able to catch up again and secured her sixth World Cup success this season in the finish sprint and thus the overall victory in the World Cup final. Claudia Nystad was able to improve from fifth to third place. Vincent Vittoz was able to extend his lead over overall World Cup winner Lukáš Bauer on the last stage and thus clearly fought for the overall victory. Pietro Piller Cottrer improved to a good fourth place, but could not displace René Sommerfeldt, who crossed the finish line in twelfth, from second place in the overall World Cup ranking.
