The Stöckli Swiss Sports AG based in Malters , Canton of Lucerne , is a Swiss manufacturer of sports equipment. The company is family-owned and has been run by Marc glasses since 2014. The company has a ski factory in Malters, operates 15 of its own sports shops in Switzerland and supplies 800 specialist retailers in around 40 countries worldwide (as of 2018).

history

At the beginning of the 1930s, Josef Stöckli made skis in his mother's washing port from ash boards that had previously been cut in his parents' carpentry business by steaming and bending the boards. In response to great demand, he founded the Stöckli ski factory in 1935. He himself tested the products he manufactured as a test driver and checked his new developments.

In 1967, Stöckli decided to only sell the skis through direct sales. In 1981 the first Stöckli branch was opened in Sörenberg .

The Stöckli skis have been manufactured in Malters since 1986. In 1995, Stöckli began to deliver skis to sports shops in Switzerland. In 2019, Stöckli skis were available in around 40 countries at 800 sports retailers worldwide.

Around 80 employees work in the ski factory, and 60,000 pairs of skis are produced annually.
