description
In 1506 a hall church made of quarry stones with corner stones was built at the current location. In 1577 the major renovation of the church begins . The old, west-facing bell tower was demolished and charged past the choir , a choir tower built. The nave was extended in 1702 and covered with a half-hip roof. In 1750 another renovation took place. The choir tower has been drawn in and closed on three sides. The ground floor of the choir tower has three tracery windows at the end . Above that there are two more slate-covered storeys made of half-timbered construction , on which a Welsche hood sits, which is crowned by an open lantern . In the north and in the west there are portals , the one in the west is reached with a covered two- flight stone staircase . The inside of the choir is covered with a wooden dome .
The interior , covered with a wooden barrel vault , has two-story galleries with carved parapets on the long sides . The pulpit is decorated with vine leaves and grapes. The baptismal font and the ambo are from 1673. On the semicircular gallery in the west, behind the organ front with carved tendrils and tuba angels from 1702, is the organ . It has 10 stops , divided into a manual and a pedal , and was built in the 17th century by an unknown organ builder .
history
