Stanislav Jasečko (born December 5, 1972 in Spišská Nová Ves , Czechoslovakia ) is a Slovak ice hockey player who has been under contract with KLH Vajgar Jindřichův Hradec in the 2nd národní hokejová league since June 2013 .

Career

Stanislav Jasečko began his ice hockey career in 1992 in Slovakia at ŠKP PS Poprad . There the defender played for a year for the professional team in the first division of Czechoslovakia . He then moved to HK VTJ Spišská Nová Ves . In 1994 the left shooter was in the squad of the Slovak national team for the first time , with which he took part in the C1 World Championship in Slovakia that same year . In the summer of 1994 Jasečko moved to HC Košice within the Slovakian extra league, where the then 22-year-old was able to convince in his first season. In the 36 games that he played, Jasečko scored a good 15 points for a defender . Only a year later, the defender was nominated again for the Slovak national team, with which he took part in the B world championship and was able to celebrate promotion to the A world championship.

For the 1996/97 season, the robust defender joined the Grand Rapids Griffins from the International Hockey League . Only one season later he returned to Slovakia and continued his involvement with the Slovak club HC Košice. There Jasečko played until 1999 and was with the team champion , before he in the Czech Extraliga during HC Ceske Budejovice signed a contract. The Slovak was also one of the most important defenders in the team in České Budějovice . After a two-year interlude in Sweden , Finland and Russia , Stanislav Jasečko finally returned to HC České Budějovice in 2003.

Subsequently, those in charge of the HKm Zvolen were able to convince him of a renewed commitment in the Slovak elite league. There he first signed a two-year contract. Further career stations were HC Vítkovice and HC Lasselsberger Plzeň in the Czech extra league.

During the summer break of 2008, those responsible for Füchse Duisburg became aware of the defensive player and transferred him to Duisburg . After the Füchse bankruptcy, Jasečko returned to his hometown club HK Poprad for the 2009/10 season . Between 2011 and January 2013 he played for EV Bozen 84 from the Italian A2 series , before he was signed by the Dresdner Eislöwen from the 2nd ice hockey Bundesliga to replace the injured Justin Kurtz . Due to an injury, he only completed six missions for the ice lions. In June 2013 he was signed by KLH Vajgar Jindřichův Hradec from the 2nd národní hokejová liga for two years.
