Stefan Hansen (composer)

Stefan Hansen (born May 13, 1965 in Husum ) is a German composer .

biography

Stefan Hansen learned the piano at the age of seven. At twelve he learned to play the guitar. After playing in several bands, he studied music at the BU Flensburg . He then worked from 1991 as an arranger, musician and composer for Detlef Petersen . From 1995 he worked for several musicians before settling in 1998 as a composer for radio, film and television independently made. His first score for a feature film was in 2000 for the crime comedy Now or Never - Time is Money, directed by Lars Büchel . Since then he has written the music for several films in which Til Schweiger played, including One Way , Keinohrhasen and 1½ Ritter - In Search of the Adorable Herzelinde .

Award

Together with Max Berghaus and Dirk Reichardt , Hansen was awarded a German Film Prize for best film music in 2004.
