history

The first written mention of the place took place in 1281, when Chotěboř von Retschitz left the Krimove estate including the associated villages to the Teutonic Knights in Komotau . After lengthy disputes with the Bohemian Crown, Wenceslaus IV took advantage of the order's weakness after the Battle of Tannenberg in 1410 and confiscated its property. In 1411 Wenceslaus expelled the order from the country. Subsequently, the village became part of the Chomutov rule. In 1560 there was another secure mention. When they were ransomed from their subservience, the city of Chomutov also bought the village of Droška / Droschig in 1605 . From then on, its residents were obliged to do military service at Gut Schönlind , which belonged to the Free Royal City . An old Landessteig trail led past the Droschig to Saxony, which was later expanded into Kaiserstraße. The residents made a living from cattle breeding, agriculture and work in the forest. Lace-making and sewing were done at home. The school location was Domina , the parish Krima . In the 19th century, Droschig had its own village school. In 1847 Droschig had 99 inhabitants.

After the abolition of patrimonial Droschig formed from 1850 a district of the political municipality Domina in the district authority Komotau. In 1869 Droschig consisted of 18 houses. In 1878 the Droschig / Stračky community was established , to which the one-layer Droschiger Hübel / Kopec strážecký - an inn - also belonged. In 1921 the population consisted of 141 people, all of whom belonged to the German ethnic group. In 1921 the German name of the village was changed to Troschig and the Czech name to Strážky . After the Munich Agreement , the community was added to the German Reich in 1938 and belonged to the Komotau district until 1945 . In 1939, 132 people lived in Troschig. In the last days of the Second World War, on April 16 and 17, 1945, a death march of concentration camp prisoners led from Reitzenhain via Ulmbach , Sebastiansberg, Neudorf, Domina, Schönlind, Oberdorf and Komotau past Troschig into the North Bohemian Basin . After the end of the war, Strážky returned to Czechoslovakia and the German residents were expelled . In 1950 Strážky consisted of 21 residential buildings and had 58 inhabitants. In 1951 it was incorporated into Domina. At the beginning of 1961 Strážky was incorporated into Křimov together with Domina. The number of inhabitants subsequently fell to four in 1991. In the 2001 census, 16 people lived in the village's seven permanent houses.

The Strážky chapel was demolished in 1969.
