history

The first written mention of the Schönlind court belonging to the Komotau Teutonic Order came in 1312. After lengthy disputes with the Bohemian Crown, Wenceslaus IV took advantage of the order's weakness after the Battle of Tannenberg in 1410 and confiscated its property. In 1411 Wenceslaus expelled the order from the country. Subsequently, the village became part of the Chomutov rule. When the city of Chomutov bought the estate of Schönlind and the associated villages in 1605, when it was ransomed. From then on, the estate became the center of the possessions of the Free Royal City on the ridge of the Ore Mountains. The Kaiserstraße ran through the village from Komotau to Sebastiansberg .

After the abolition of patrimonial Schönlind formed a political community in the Komotau district administration from 1850 onwards. Its inhabitants lived mainly from cattle breeding and barren agriculture. In addition, gorl sewing and lace making were carried out at home. In 1868 the construction of the Komotau-Weipert railway began with the Buschtěhrad Railway , which circumnavigated the village from south to west. Four years later, the line and the Domina-Schönlind train station were inaugurated. In 1930 three percent of the population were Czech. After the Munich Agreement , the community was added to the German Reich in 1938 and belonged to the Komotau district until 1945 . In 1939 only 132 people lived in Schönlind after the Czechs were expelled into the interior. In the last days of the Second World War, on April 16 and 17, 1945, a death march of concentration camp prisoners led from Reitzenhain via Ulmbach , Sebastiansberg , Neudorf, Domina , Schönlind, Oberdorf and Komotau into the North Bohemian Basin . At the end of the war, the population of Schönlind had grown to 147 due to refugees from the bombed areas. The village returned to Czechoslovakia and the German residents were expelled . He was resettled with Czechs. In 1948 the place was given the Czech name Krásná Lípa . In 1960 Krásná Lípa was incorporated into Domina. Since 1963 the village belongs to Křimov . The population decreased steadily. The chapel of St. Trinity was demolished in the 1980s. In 2001 the village consisted of 14 houses in which 41 people lived.
