background
The name of the vehicle is derived from treasure , the English word for treasure.
technology
The range of engines included a 1.33-liter gasoline engine and a 1.4-liter diesel engine. A six-speed manual transmission and a continuously variable automatic transmission (Multidrive-S) were available for the gasoline engine . In addition to the six-speed manual transmission, the diesel engine also had an automatically shifting transmission ( MultiMode transmission ).
In contrast to the simplest equipment variant of the Verso-S, the Trezia was considerably more expensive, but it was fundamentally better equipped. In addition to electric power steering, the standard equipment included four disc brakes (internally ventilated at the front) with anti-lock braking system , brake assist , driving dynamics control with traction control (TRC: traction control), electric front windows, a 40/60 split rear seat back, central locking with radio remote control, seven airbags , electrically adjustable - and heated exterior mirrors, a height-adjustable steering column and Isofix child seat brackets on the rear seats as well as air conditioning and a CD / MP3 radio audio system with four speakers.
While all Subaru automobiles used to be equipped with all-wheel drive and boxer engines, the Trezia, like the last Justy generation, was only available with front-wheel drive and an in- line engine.
