Sucka Free is the second mixtape by US rapper Nicki Minaj . It was released on April 12, 2008 through Dirty Money Records. Sucka Free features guest appearances by fellow rappers like Lil Wayne , Gucci Mane , Jadakiss , Lil 'Kim and Ransom. The productions come from Daven "Prestige" Vanderpool, Diddy, James Todd Smith, among others. None of the tracks are original songs; mostly samples from popular hip-hop songs were used.

Shortly after Minaj's previous mixtape Playtime is Over was released in 2007, Minaj released Sucka Free with labelmate Lil Wayne after spotting her on the Queens-produced DVD series The Come Up . Lil Wayne advised Nicki on the creation of the video and helped her continue her rap career.

The cover of this mixtape shows Nicki Minaj and Lil Wayne on a podium in front of a red curtain interviewed by XXL Magazine and MTV. Nicki wears a gold-toned necklace and gold-toned earrings, wearing a half-buttoned red shirt, and striped pants similar to those she wears on the mixtape Playtime Is Over. Lil Wayne wears a red robe with a silver watch and silver chains with a black hat with the title "Young Money".
Critics have noted that Nicki used the same style from rival fellow rapper Lil 'Kim from her promotional recording for Kim's Hard Core album. This was a little spark at the start of Nicki Minaj and Lil 'Kim Beef, which started in 2010.
