Susanne Böwe
Susanne Böwe (* 1964 in Lutherstadt Eisleben ) is a German actress and radio play speaker .
Life
Susanne Böwe is the daughter of the actor Kurt Böwe (1929–2000) and the dramaturge and radio play author Heidemarie Böwe (* 1941). One of her siblings is the actress and opera singer Winnie Böwe (* 1973).
From 1981 to 1985 Böwe attended the "Ernst Busch" Academy of Dramatic Arts in Berlin . Her stage career included the Dresden State Theater, the Schiller Theater and the Maxim Gorki Theater in Berlin and the plays in Leipzig and Frankfurt . From 2013 to 2016 she was engaged at the Staatstheater Stuttgart .
In Dresden, Böwe was Gretchen in Faust in a production by the director at the time, Wolfgang Engel , and at the Schiller Theater , Princess Eboli in Don Karlos , directed by Leander Hausmann. She also played in other classics such as Käthchen von Heilbronn , Der Prinz von Homburg , as Kriemhild in Friedrich Hebbels Nibelungen or as Sittah in Nathan the Wise . Productions with Boew's participation were also in Leipzig War and Peace after Leo Tolstoy in a coproduction with the Ruhrfestspiele Recklinghausen and in Stuttgart Uncle Wanja by Anton Chekhov , who were invited to the Berlin Theatertreffen in 2013 and 2014 respectively. Armin Petras ' production of Heaven (to Tristan) , in which Böwe played Helga Königsforst , was awarded the Friedrich Luft Prize in 2007 .
In addition, Susanne Böwe also works repeatedly for film and television.
