Tegueste is a municipality in the northeast of the Canary Island of Tenerife with 11,294 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2019). It is located north of Santa Cruz de Tenerife . Its only neighboring community is San Cristóbal de La Laguna , from which Tegueste is enclosed as an enclave.
Tegueste has an area of 26.09 km² at an average altitude of 390 m above sea level.
