Thalheim (Bissingen)

Thalheim is a district of the market Bissingen in the Swabian district of Dillingen on the Danube . The place was incorporated into the market Bissingen on January 1, 1972. It is located five kilometers northwest of Bissingen in a side valley of the boiler . The highest altitude is 492 m.

history

Thalheim was probably created as an extension of Unterringingen . The place name was first handed down in 1411. Thalheim belonged to the Hohenburg lordship , whose history it continues to share.

religion

The place originally belonged to the parish Unterringingen, but came in the course of the Counter Reformation in 1568 to the parish of Fronhofen in the Hohenburg-Bissingen rule.
