Theresa Berlage (* 1969 in Essen ) is a German actress .

Life

Theresa Berlage attended the Westphalian Drama School in Bochum from 1985 . After graduating from 1991 to 1995 , she had her first permanent engagement at the Deutsches Theater Göttingen . a. In The Little Horror Shop , Nathan the Wise and Bunbury could be seen. This was followed by guest contracts, which led Berlage to the Hessian State Theater Wiesbaden , to the Feuchtwangen cloister plays , the Ruhr Festival in Recklinghausen or repeatedly to Hamburg, where she acted at Kampnagel , the Deutsches Schauspielhaus and the Kammerspiele . Here she worked with the directors Franz Wittenbrink , Christiane Pohle and Nicolas Stemann . From 2006 to 2009 another permanent engagement followed at the Stadttheater Konstanz . Here she stood u. a. on stage as Frau vom Meer , Lysistrata and Kriemhild from the Nibelungs . Since 2009 there have been guest performances again, e.g. B. at the Städtische Bühnen Münster , the Theater Erfurt , at the Staatstheater Stuttgart and again at Kampnagel.

Since the early 1990s, Theresa Berlage also works for film and television, the first time she stood in 1992 in the film German fever of Niklaus Schilling in the role of a reporter in front of the camera. In the movie 'Adam and Eve' she played one of the leading roles alongside Simon Schwarz and Marie Bäumer. After that, she mostly had guest appearances in German series such as Die Pfefferkörner , SOKO Cologne , Der Landarzt , Danni Lowinski or Der Dicke .

In 1995 Therese Berlage was on tour through Germany with a recital (mezzo-soprano voice) entitled “Fly me to the Moon” .

In addition to a role in the radio play “Counting” by Tamta Melaschwili , Theresa Berlage read the audio books “A Hunger Artist” and “A Country Doctor” with stories by Franz Kafka .

Theresa Berlage lives in Hamburg.
